Email from "Hironori Mii (Yo-Yo Company Inc.)" to ChrisK on February 1, 2012:

Dear Chris,
It was very nice seeing you again in Prague.
I am writing this e-mail on behalf of Daisuke Shimada of YoYoJoker. Daisuke is a legend 3A world champion as you know and he runs YoYoJoker, a yo-yo manufacturer in Japan.
He thinks you, Hspin is one of the originators of the metal yo-yo era and want to show his respect for your work.
Please see the pictures I attached. He is making a yo-yo with D size bearing which you started using, and people call them Hspin size. [...]

What more needs to be said...
Daisuke: Thank you for your kind and honorable intentions. It means tons to me and to HSPIN. All the best with the D-Strider.

Chris, You were my roots.

Chris,

You were my roots. You were my stepping stone. You gave me the tools to be where I am today. I miss you, and I forever THANK you for all you've done for me and the rest of the team. There will always be a part of our hearts that beats Hspin. Time can't take that away.

I hope to hear from you soon. You're the best!
